RICH

Rich began his training with Nermin in his mid teens competeing in amateur boxing competitions and coming runner up in South Australian State Titles.  

In his mid 20’s he parted ways with Nermin so he could pursue his career in the Military.

Richie successfully completed the Military Direct Entry Scheme streamlining him straight into a special forces unit known as 2nd Commando Regiment.

During his 11 years of service in the Military he conducted

• 6 Tours to Afghanistan
• 1 Tour to Iraq
• 2 Rotations of the Domestic Counter Terrorism Team Tagged East

During the latter part of his military career he served as a Special Forces Sniper.

Upon discharging from the military Richie is now back not only training under Nermin, but also being mentored to follow in his footsteps of becoming a boxer trainer with the ability to turn fighters into champions.

Richie has a passion for coaching and guiding any young fighters interested in pursuing boxing, whether it be the novice or with the intention of turning pro. 

His extensive knowledge and experience within the Military, in particular within the Australian Special Operations Unit,  has put him in good stead to offer guidance, mentoring, physical training and mental conditioning to all, from the novice boxer to those seeking a career within the elite of the Australian Army.
